Dakota Alert Probe and Transmitter - Description

The WPT3000 probe/transmitter will only detect moving metal, thus preventing false alarms from animals or other objects. The transmitter operates on one 9 volt battery. The transmitter box is connected to the probe with 50' (125' and 250' lengths also available) of burial cable. The magnetic metal sensing probe can then be buried along side the driveway and will detect vehicles passing by within about 10 to 12 feet. The direct burial cable allows you to mount the transmitter box to a tree or post nearby. When a vehicle drives by, the transmitter will send a signal to the WR 3000 or WPR 3000 receivers, up to 600 feet away.

The WPT-3000 is ideal in locations where there might be deer or other large animals that would cause false signals with the motion type systems. As well, because the probe buried underground it will be the least noticeable of our wireless systems. The transmitter is weatherproof and designed for exterior applications. Up to 4 zones can be monitored with additional transmitters. The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a different tone at the receiver.
