SVAT CV501 - 16 Channel Surveillance Camera System
The SVAT CV501 DVR Kit is a 16 Channel CCTV DVR kit. The DVR can easily be connected to your network and the internet allowing you to view live and recorded surveillance footage remotely using Internet Explorer. The new SVAT DVR's are also smart phone compatible allowing you to view your surveillance systems live footage remotely using your iPhone or BlackBerry. The surveillance cameras also have motion sensors built in allowing them to only record when motion is detected. The SVAT DVR can also be set to email your phone with alerts each time motion is detected! The 500GB hard drive which is included with the DVR can hold over 8 years of continuous footage!
Web and Smart Phone Compatible
With the easy to setup internet connection you can remotely view both live and archived surveillance footage from anywhere in the world using Internet Explorer! The new SVAT DVR's come equipped with 3G technology allowing them to transmit video and audio from your SVAT surveillance camera system at high speeds. You can also easily setup your SVAT DVR to email your smart phone to alert you of specific alarm events happening (such as motion detection).

This entire surveillance camera system can be quickly and easily setup in your home or office. The kit has auto-start recording which means as soon you plug the system in will begin recording making it easy to tell if it has been setup correctly. With the 60 foot cables included with each camera it makes it easy to locate the cameras in the exact locations you want monitored. Plus just in case the 60 feet is not long enough for some locations this SVAT DVR kit comes with 4 60 foot extension cables which are easily connected together to give you the distance you may need for more remote areas you wish to monitor!
How can it record over 8 years of continuous surveillance footage?
The SVAT DVR's use H.264 Compression which is the most advanced compression available for DVR systems. You will still have amazing quality footage but save almost 50% of the space you would normally require using standard MPEG-4 video compression.
