Description
The 2012JA is a 4-wire, 12–24 VDC photoelectric smoke detector designed for use with security alarm systems or other low-voltage setups. It is compatible with any standard wired alarm system that supports 4-wire smoke detectors. The 2012JA features a test and alarm silence (hush) button, visual indicators for power and alarm status, and a built-in sounder to alert occupants in case of smoke detection.

- built-in relay which may be used to activate auxiliary devices such as bells, horns, and door closers
- additional terminals that allow it to be interconnected with up to 12 other 2012JA units, enabling all connected detectors to sound simultaneously in the event of a fire.
